Since then he’s still been allowed to caucus with the Democrats and retain his seniority and leadership positions in order to give the Democrats the majority in the Senate.</p> <p>Lieberman was able to hold onto his status in the Democratic Party even after he endorsed Republican John McCain for president, but has he finally crossed the line?
