Republicans were doing the same thing to promote Obama in previous primaries. Obama's results come partially from the fact that the Republicans chose their candidate early on.

Maybe we should limit ourselves to looking at the track records and the programs of candidates instead of letting ourselves get manipulated by the press.

Ohio could exercise some awesome clout tuesday. We could make our vote final. Will we act, or leave the honor to someone else on a different day. Vote for Obama and leave that voting booth walking tall. Republicans are going to cross over bigtime tomorrow and vote for Hillary. Sen. Clinton is their dream opponent. NOTICE how they are not criticizing Hillary in the media. Obama is catching it from Hillary and McCain. They fear Obama. Obama is our best hope for taking our gov't back. Think about it! Pray about it! The trap is set, don't fall into it!

The polls are a reflection of what is going on in the media. I have been around awhile and I have never seen the media spin so much. I really hope that they do not get to pick our next president and its up to us to stop it. Why are they so bent on candidates dropping out after March 4th?? Why don't they want us to have the time to get to know the candidates? The longer we have to get to know candidates, the better chance we have of electing the right person for the job. Whats so wrong with that? I am determined not to allow the media or the polls to tell me who to vote for. I now flip the channel when the commentators start to sound like they are choosing sides-I do not want to be brainwashed by the opiate of the masses!

Well regardless of how small or large the win, Clinton's narrative is already out there. And based on what I've seen this weekend the pundits/journalists, who can only be programed with punch card press releases, are already repeating her lines word for word. All the money Obama spent and he still lost The huge come back against the odds and after 11 loses Clinton winning despite a media bent on destroying her How Clinton has been a victim of misogyny and bias because gender is more of a barrier to fair treatment than race How Obama can't close the deal How Obama is just too much of an unknown and as far as he says, if we can take him on his word, he isn't a Muslim. But, do we really know for sure?! Hinting at some horrible secrets in Obama's past that will destroy his chances of winning.

Stab Me In My Eye! Another Poll!

This one doesn't look so hot for Obama. We're seeing some of the polls released today show positive Obama trends (Zogby, Quinny) and the other's show Clinton strengthening her lead (SurveyUSA, UC's Ohio Poll, & this one). Somebody's going to be embarassed. Today's Public Policy Poll:

Hillary Clinton: 51%
Barack Obama 42 %

PPP makes an interesting find...

Her major gains came with white voters and with Republicans intending to vote in the Democratic primary. Last week Obama led 80-13 with self identified GOP voters intending to cross over. Now Clinton has a small 46-45 edge with that group. While Clinton's African American support has actually declined in the last week, her lead among white voters has expanded from 18 points to 25.

A major problem for Obama in Ohio is that he is not dominating the votes of young people the way he has in a lot of states where he's had success. He leads just 49-46 among voters 18-29 and Clinton actually leads 48-44 among those voters aged 30-45.

That's a pretty drastic change in the GOP crossover vote. I have a hard time believing a 35 point jump happened in one week, but, well, whatever. Who's right? Who's wrong. I dunno. But I've got more stuff to blog, so moving on.
