Is 2006 available?

I completely understand that her 2007 return are probably not complete. (Mine may not be done until October.) However, her 2006 return must be complete, or she is in violation of the law. Has 2006 been made available? Obama's linked return is his 2006 return.

HRC will get around to releasing her tax info as soon as she gets her files released from the National Archives & the Clinton Presidential Library.

Or perhaps she'll find all these documents in the same place she "found" her Rose Law Firm billing records.

I did my taxes last week. And I even did them by myself, without the help of an army of CPA's which I'm sure the Clinton's can easily afford. This hesitancy of the Clintons to release those tax documents is fishy. There is no reason to allow this conversation to go on if you've got nothing to hide. Do they really expect anyone to believe that Hillary just hasn't gotten around to sitting down with her 1099 and a calculator?

We interviewed both Mark Penn and Ann Lewis in the spin room last night (video on the way) and asked them, repeatedly, if they believe Ohio voters deserve to see Hillary Clinton's tax documents before they vote on March 4, so they know where the $5 million loan came from. Neither Penn, nor Lewis, answered, despite numerous opportunities to answer.

I'm gonna take that to mean they don't think Ohio voters deserve this information before they vote. AP reporting on it today.

Pressed about the timing of releasing her tax returns, campaign aides were more reticent Wednesday, indicating that Clinton would not release the sensitive financial data during a hotly contested primary, but only at tax filing time.

"As is customary, as the Democratic nominee Senator Clinton will release her tax information in April at tax time," said spokesman Jay Carson.

This was Ann Lewis' argument in our interview last night, that no American does their taxes before April 15, so why should Hillary? Well, ok....but not every American is running for president and loaning their campaign $5 million, earning interest on it, and then hoping no one asks where the money came from.

I happen to think Ohio voters deserve this information before they vote. Ted Strickland used to think that too.
