...in tomorrow's debate. I'm thinking "Who's Line is it Anyway"? We could have a round that's "questions only", and then another one with funny props. And then they could bring in Wayne Brady to do a song about each candidate. Now I'm getting punchy. I blame you guys, Ohio2nd and Jerid.

Tim Ryan Responds To Ted Strickland

Just got off the phone with Tim Ryan's Congressional office. Earlier in the day Ted Strickland had some words about Ryan.

Strickland went on to compare Obama to Rep. Tim Ryan, D-Youngstown.

Ryan, like Obama, served for a stint in the state senate and has been in Congress for a relatively short time, three terms, and is tall, handsome, articulate and politically savvy, Strickland said. But he says he has told Ryan, who is neutral in the Democratic primary, that while he considers the 34-year-old a rising star and potential presidential candidate down the road, no one is talking about a Ryan candidacy right now.

They Ryan folks had a few words regarding Ted Strickland's comparison of Tim to Barack Obama:

"We certainly appreciate the fact that Ted Strickland thinks Tim Ryan is a tall, handsome, articulate and politically savvy individual."

And later in conversation said:

"While Tim Ryan remains completely neutral, he appreciates the fact that Ted Strickland is willing to put Tim Ryan in the same category as Barack Obama."

Well hot damn, Ted Strickland must really like that Tim Ryan. But then again, everyone loves them some Tim Ryan. I hear some folks have been whispering we should just get rid of all superdelegates this cycle, and let Tim Ryan represent them all.
