It's Back To The Future For Everyone!

Dang. Is there anyone out there NOT running on "the future?" Makes me wonder what is wrong with the present that no one wants any part of it. How about, "The Time is Now!" It looks to me like the "new generation" in this spot is just an extention of the old generation. lol (re:endorsements) The future is just so foggy; can't see into it, can't see around it kind of thing. We don't know what the future holds so why are we in such a dam hurry to get there with a politician, of all people? Crazy. I say, let's fix the present because that's where we are living right now. And why should we care that John is the new generation of leadership for Franklin County? Was there something wrong with the old one? Or is that supposed to be code for "he's in with the right political clique?" Whatever. Just fix the problems of today, and the future will take care of itself. Right?

The Franklin County Commissioner race ramped up today with the release of the first television ad from John O’Grady, the endorsed Democrat. The ad, titled “Committed to the Future,” continues to show John’s strength as a new generation of leadership for Franklin County.

The new ad comes on the heels of an impressive $211,688 raised and $158,772 cash on hand, with support came from 431 individual donations. John's opponent had 1/3 the cash on hand and raised only 89,000.

As John said, "Each of the 431 individual contributions to my campaign represents a vote for the future of Franklin County. These are real people who want real change."

The ad will begin airing this weekend on broadcast and cable stations in Franklin County. It is also available on the web at www.johnogrady.org.
