Cimperman isn't so far removed from the district that he has no understanding of the district's unique needs and features.

I'm convinced that Cimperman is running interference for Dennis. Prior to his candidacy I believe that either Palmer or O'Grady had a legitimate shot; but now Cimperman will be the leader of the opposition in a losing effort.

Ferris sucks

You don't get the anti-Dennis endorsement simply because you were the first to be anti-Dennis. Ferris can't win.

Let me say that again. Barb Ferris has as much chance of winning the primary as Dennis Kucinich had in winning the Democratic nomination for President this year.

She doesn't have the base, organization, or resources to mount a credible challenge to Kucinich. At best, all she can do is help dilute the anti-Kucinich vote to make it easier for Dennis to win the nomination even if he gets less than 50% of the vote.

If the race could be decided on who was right about Dennis first, then Ferris would win. However, if the goal is to unite around a candidate that can actually defeat Dennis Kucinich's base and campaign organization, then Ferris is at the bottom of the list. Right now it looks like Cimperman is the candidate. Although he doesn't "live in the district," we're not talking about another Congressman Gilmor here. Cimperman isn't so far removed from the district that he has no understanding of the district's unique needs and features.

Sean Penn isn't hurting for movie roles or cash. Maybe if you and those running against Dennis got together and smoked some dope you'd qualify as half-way interesting.

But apparantly Dennis' panties are. After he finally realized that he has neglected the district long enough to <gasp> drop out of the presidential race. It is good to see Sean Penn posting for Dennis though. Sean has the work dried up with the writer's strike, or have you come across a part for a 50 year old stoner?

Uhh there is just one of me, but thank you for asking. So are you telling me that because you have just recently "seen the light" that you and Palmer are "more able" and "better understanding" of Kucinich's treachery? All that tells me is that for 10 years (since Kucinich has begun to mis-represent this district) you have been hood-winked.

Thank you for making my case for me. I would rather have someone who has known Dennis to be bad for this district since forever than someone who just fell off the turnip truck like you, Rosemary Palmer, and Joe Cimperman. Don't get all ballistic and angry and violent like Rosemary does when you don't agree with her. This is just friendly debate. No need to use the term "freaking". And you ask my age. Bahh!

How old are you, two? I strongly supported Dennis in 2006, too. He lost me when he decided to run for President again. That's when he lost Rosemary too. That's when he lost quite a few people. Ferris had her shot. Twice. If the 10th district goes for a new flavor this time, it ain't gonna be Ferris.

Who strongly supported Dennis Kucinich in 2006? Rosemary Palmer. Who strongly supported Dennis Kucinich in 2006? Joe Cimperman. Let's see who ran against Dennis Kucinich in 2004? Barbara Anne Ferris. Who ran against Kucinich in 2006? Barbara Anne Ferris. So don't tell me Rosemary Palmer was the first out of the gate. While she was knocking on doors and campaigning for Kucinich, Barb Ferris was telling the world what a joke and a horrible rep Kucinich is. You have to face the facts that Palmer is so evil to Barb Ferris because ever since Palmer was holding DK's handbag, Ferris was campaiging against him. Wait. What is that? That little tiny speck way ahead of Rosemary Palmer. It is Barbara Anne Ferris who was the true first one out of the gate in 2004. Not 2008. Nice try Susan, but way the hell off. Laughable: "Rosemary Palmer was the first one out of the gate". Only about 5 years too late is Rosemary Palmer. And Joe Cimperman STILL DOES NOT LIVE IN THE DISTRICT.

Rosemary Palmer is a fervent Kucinich supporter? Yeah, right...that's why she was the first one out of the gate to challenge him for his seat. Palmer leads, the rest follow. Something to keep in mind.

Cimperman does not live in the 10th District

I REPEAT. JOE CIMPERMAN LIVES IN THE 11TH CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICT NOT THE THE DISTRICT HE IS RUNNING FOR. Joe Cimperman lives in the 11th House District. Now, according to the Constitution, you only have to be a resident of the state in order to run for congress. I did some research...maybe a vast majority of Cimperman's Council ward is in the 10th District. Nope...only two precincts are in the 10th District. The other 30+ precints are in the 11th District (including the precint that Cimperman lives in). As congressman, Dennis Kucinich is running for president, and ignoring his congressional district in the process. Likewise, Joe Cimperman is running for a congressional district he does not live in (thus ignoring the people he represents in his own council ward). The people of the 10th district should not vote for Joe Cimperman for this reason alone. Also...Rosemary Palmer is a fervent Kucinich supporter. O'Grady is non-existent, so the best choice is Barb Ferris.

I'm damned sick of politicians who still can't stand up to Bush

WASHINGTON
Retirees living off Social Security are frustrated that they won't get tax rebate checks through a bipartisan economic stimulus package before the House. Our only hope is in the hands of the Senate Democrats and that there efforts Friday to include them is not once again hot air.
Bush urged Congress on Friday to quickly pass the package without any further spending. "I strongly believe it would be a mistake to delay or derail this bill."
In his own words Mr. Bush said "I understand the desire to add provisions from both the right and the left," he said, adding that it would be an error while not explaining how you can cass this group of Americans aside.
Some Senate Democrats are refusing to rubber stamp the House measure. This, at the least raises the possibility of negotiations if the Senate Democrats are successful in adding giving retirees tax rebates, extending unemployment benefits, boosting heating subsidies for the poor and temporarily increasing food stamp payments to this package.
Those are all items floated by top Senate Democrats left out of the negotiations between the administration and House leaders as they once again wish to leave this group out of the game.
We understand that they were all considered but tossed out in intense talks that produced a hard-won agreement among Bush, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Minority Leader John Boehner.
With Bush not having a future in politics and I can only guess he’s not caring about his party, I can understand George Bush not caring about the backlash from this huge voting block during an Election Year . Until they vote we can’t list the names of the Senators who will wish to fall in line with the President much like House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Minority Leader John Boehner have.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is on shaky ground and unless she’s a dreamer, it’s going to take a lot more then her pleasant looks before a TV camera for her to win her seat back. Our friend, House Minority Leader John Boehner has the impression that he lives in a district that allows him to side with the President. I guess that Boehner doesn’t have any poor tax payers or people trying to live on Social Security Checks in his voting district.
My message to Boehner and every Senator is that they need to remember how people on a fixed income are not of one political party and when you turn your back on this huge voting block, people like myself and many more will have written your name down and will forget their automatic party vote and cast a vote against the incumbents who turn their back on the people with a true need.
At last count there were 20 million senior citizens living chiefly on Social Security, if you wish to lose these votes, then it’s your choice.
It’s should be noted how this mistake already has a name and we’re going to remember it,
(the Bush-Pelosi-Boehner agreement).

I doubt anyone will get out of the race. I have a pretty good sense of why Rosemary, Barbara and now O'Grady are running (he's got a lot more forceful and developed ideas than he indicates on his website). The only one who seems to not have a strong reason to be in the race beyond "Dennis is absent" is Cimperman. Unless he can define himself better, maybe he should be the first to depart. Not sure mountains of ads will help unless there's some positive comment that gives primary voters reason to go to the polls FOR him. I hope to hear more from him on the issues — quickly.

Who Should Stay, Who Should Go In OH-10

It's the time to start talking about putting pressure on not only Dennis Kucinich, but the various challengers to his seat to coalesce around one candidate to take him out...

We don't have a shot if all three of these folks stay in the race. So it's time to start rallying behind one.

VOTE HERE

Who should it be? 'Cause four challengers don't work anymore.

Joe Cimperman?

Rosemary Palmer?

Tom O'Grady?

Is Barbara Ferris even running anymore?

VOTE HERE
