UPDATE: -Jerid. I cut up the audio of the conference call so folks could just listen to Hackett's story about Kucinich. You can download it here, or just press play on the console below. It's less than 5 minutes long.

The Palmer campaign has got the audio of today's endorsement conference call here, if anyone is interested. I've only listened to bits and piece, but it is increasingly clear that Palmer is a candidate who gets it. She comes across as down-to-earth and knowledgeable without any of the need to grandstand on issues, especially Iraq. There is a portion in the beginning where she talks about helping those wounded both physically and mentally in the war that is incredibly impressive. I guess when you lose a son in war you come to understand that the best way forward is the pragmatic way forward. In the end, it is the only way that will get the results we all want.

Anyways, she's got something that current Rep. Kucinich does not. She'd make a fine public servant, and the people of the 10th district would be lucky to have her.
