It doesn't seem that strange to me that Oklahoma City is receiving more money than Columbus in terms of HLS appropriations. I think Mr. Todd fails to remember that before 9/11 the Oklahoma City Bombing was the deadliest act of terrorism on US soil. Gaining approps is largely a result from Congress. Because Representatives Pryce and Tiberi have lost political clout in Washington with the 110th Congress does not mean that the responsibility falls on Coleman. This is a federal issue not a local one. Todd's argument, in my opinion, is very specious.

Illegal Electioneering Out of Tiberi's Office?

Yesterday Bill Todd held a press conference where he called himself "the candidate for mayor," cried that Oklahoma City got more terrorism funding than Columbus (anyone remember this one?), and suggested that a Todd Mayorship would employ the every brilliant strategy of "thinking ahead." I can't make this stuff up folks, it's just too good. Don't believe me? Watch the campaign video produced by ~~Sam Gedert's consulting firm that is assisting the Todd campaign~~ Naugle and Associates (he's not on the payroll, swears it).

Anyways, the real meat here is that Todd scheduled this press conference before the grant announcements he cites was released to the public. Kinda strange right? Like Todd has a man on the inside or something.

Rumor around Cbus is that Todd has been coordinating with federal information out of Congressman Tiberi's OH-12 office. That'd seem to make sense, since the Columbus area Congressman certainly had the grant information before it was released to the public. However, Tiberi's office passing that information on to the Todd campaign would constitute a violation of electioneering activities. So my question to the Todd campaign is how did y'all know ahead of time the data in the report? Prove me wrong. Show me you're above the bar.

Until then, I'm taking away a lifeline on the sidebar.
