Actually, I would not say that it is all good news for the Democrats. I believe that the Republicans needed to know who has been representing them. They need someone new, and they need them now! I also believe this helps get the Independent's foot in the door. Schmidt is just giving her votes away to the Democrats and Independants at this point!!! When is the next debate by the way? I hope to see ALL of the candidates this time. I am stuck out here in the sticks again without cable. Are they going to broadcast the debates on the internet or radio? And...is Jean Schmidt going to ever debate...or does she know she has already lost?

In case anyone hasn't figured it out by now, here's more proof that the Republican Party is seriously concerned about Jean Schmidt's chances for re-election.

As The Hill reports today, party bosses like John Boehner are throwing together a last-minute fundraiser in a desperate attempt to aid nine Republican congresswomen whom they describe as "vulnerable" and "endangered."

One of the nine on this "endangered species list"? None other than Ms. Schmidt herself.

But hey - she worked hard to put herself there.
