BSB Scoops Roll Call on Ney staffers [UPDATE*2]

Roll call today

According to Roll Call, Matt Parker, district director in Ney’s office in St. Clairsville, Ohio, was subpoenaed to testify before a federal grand jury conducting the Abramoff probe. Additional subpoenas of Ney’s staffers are expected soon, said a source familiar with situation.

BSB almost 2 weeks ago

I'm also learning from sources on the Hill that a couple of Ney's staffers are getting a close look too.

I don't wanna drop names, but someone should call Brian Walsh and ask him if he has any plans, or even a lawyer.

[UPDATE]
Sabrina Eaton has this at openers

Parker did not immediately return phone calls to his home or Ney's campaign headquarters. Ney spokesman Brian Walsh also did not immediately respond to requests for comment, although he released a statement announcing that he has accepted a new job as communications director for Texas GOP Sen. John Cornyn.

You can run Brian, but you can't hide. Looks like that liberal establishment is forcing all of Ney's staffers to bail on him.

tick tock tick tock....

[UPDATE #2]
TPM reports

Will Heaton, his Chief of Staff and Brian Walsh, his long-suffering communications director are both leaving. And Chris Otillo, his legislative director, apparently bailed last Friday.

For those of you who aren't familiar with the nomenclature of the congressman's staff, that's pretty much it.

Not that there aren't more people. But that's the troika.

The DOJ must be just days away from serving the indictment on Ney.
