Add Lawrence County, too.

I think it's safe to say Wilson has won this one. He has over a thirty point lead over his closest opponent and I don't think there's enough likely votes out there that will upset this lead.

It was $1M that could have been EASILY avoided. But with Wilson with the nomination, the race is likely to fall off the national radar screen. The GOP candidate is going to have a very empty victory when suddenly he realizes that nobody stuck around.

In the end, if it keeps the seat in Democratic hands, then I guess I say yes, but next time he should get someone else to handle his petitions.

Add Gallia and Monroe to the

Add Gallia and Monroe to the list. He's definately won Scioto County, too.

That's over half of the counties in the district. As of 10:49 p.m., Wilson has a strong lead in Mahoning County as well. Jefferson, Columbiana, and Mahoning have the three largest Democratic voting blocks by far.

In total, Wilson currently has about a 29.5 point lead with over 58% of the vote.

My only concern is that so far, he hasn't get a single vote in Athens, Belmont, Washington. However, despite that, I think it's starting to look like this is going to be Wilson's race!

Wilson has won Columbiana, Noble, and Meigs counties and it looks like he will win Jefferson County and probably Scioto County as well. That's over a fourth of the counties in the district and he currently has over a 27 point lead on his nearest challenger.

There's not alot of data yet in this race, but what's available is encouraging.

Right now, Charlie Wilson has a twenty point lead, and some of his home counties haven't even come in yet.

The bad news is that all but 1 precinct in Washington County has come in and not one voter wrote in Charlie Wilson's name!
