Columbuser, We Hardly Knew Ya'!

Almost as quickly as that big bright star of feigned independence in the Republican blogosphere showed up, Columbuser has fizzled out, exploding apart like a big glorious GOP supernova. For over two weeks the blog has remained dormant. Children of Columbus cry out for more hack jobs against Mayor Coleman, progressive issues, and the always comical hit against BSB. But these children have no hope, for the only one responding to their tears of partisanship is Columbuser's handicap second cousin, Right Angle Blog.

The sudden and unannounced departure of Columbuser left many folks scratching their chins, wondering to where their favorite comedian departed.  In fact, this blog has had numerous inquiries as to the location of Big C, but alas, I have no answers. Speculation as to the fate of Columbuser has ranged from the mild "I hear that with all that hackery, he just needed a vacation" to the outlandish, "My bet is that he finally went off the deep end, put up his keyboard, and started hunting innocent Columbus arabs for persecution with Patrick Poole, D.O.G. style."

Of course, one has to wonder whether Columbuser has departed for that great rightie blogger heaven in the sky, Communications Counsel for a big cushy job with Mark Weaver. I suppose only time, or a blog scrubbing, will tell. Right Dole?
