Buckeye Institute Shilling for Bill Todd?

As I mentioned earlier, Bill Todd's getting ready to jump into litigating intra-district spending habits. The case was filed on Monday. Well low and behold...look what comes through my inbox today from ex-Blackwell staffer, Carlo LoParo's Buckeye Institute:

Buckeye Institute just happens to be putting on a seminar regarding the very same topic Todd is litigating. Hot damn, that's a reeeeeaaaaaaal interesting co-incky dink thar'.

And as a quick reminder, the Buckeye Institute is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization. While tax law permits the Buckeye Institute to engage in certain issue advocacy and political lobbying, it does expressly forbid coordination with political campaigns. That's kind of interesting...because that appears to be just what the Buckeye Institute is up to here.
