Did I mention?

That if the Cincinnati Enquirer got its way, it would mean that Democrats would be in the majority of the County Commission?

Fascinating...

...I didn't realize Nikki was a Cincy native. I've been reading one of her books, and I've become enraptured with her style. She's penned one hell of a diss against JKB.

Earth Charter Summit (Blackwell reference)

I finally decided to go to the Earth Charter Summit today, even though it was too *damn* early on a Saturday to go to an event on the other side of town. But I reasoned that, as much time as I've spent immersed in the twisted logic of the religious right lately (thanks to the forum I attended last Sunday), I needed this for some balance.

Anyway, I didn't think Blackwell's name would be coming up in that context. Well, his actual *name* didn't come up, as far as I can recall, but in his opening remarks, the featured speaker said something about how interesting it is to be in a state where we have someone who belongs in a federal penitentiary running for governor. I'm guessing he wasn't referring to Ted Strickland.
