And Brunner Recovers...

Yesterday I posted about what I believe to have been a very bad move for the Brunner campaign, but I think they may be getting back on course.

Today Brunner appears to have admitted straight out that Fisher outraised her last quarter, but it’s not that simple. It appears Fisher raised less than he did last quarter, while Brunner’s numbers went up. Brunner is seizing on this to claim that the trend favors her. In fact, many people wondered last time around if Fisher could sustain his fundraising levels. This also puts pressure on Fisher to out raise himself in this quarter, or else Brunner’s claim will be strengthened.

If I worked on the Brunner campaign I’d also be prepared to nail Fisher for putting money before people if they try to make an issue out of the gap between their accounts.
