The Buckeye State Blog (BSB) is one of Ohio's oldest and largest political blogs. Thousands of Ohio politicians, consultants, candidates and activists visit BSB daily for their fill of political news, gossip and shenanigans. BSB has been cited by all of Ohio's urban newspapers, ABC News, NPR, CNN, NBC, Slate, Salon, Roll Call, and numerous other national publications. Created by Russell Hughlock in 2005 and maintained for over a year by Jerid Kurtz, Buckeye State Blog is owned by BSB Media, LLC.

David hails from Southeastern Ohio, down along the banks of the Ohio River. Hoping to fill the gaping online void in the area, he started blogging in the summer of 2006. Compelled by reasons he still doesn't understand, he's been blogging ever since.

Nick is a lifelong Ohioan, and a veteran of numerous Democratic campaigns around the state. Serving as the National Committeeman for the Ohio Young Democrats, Nick is plugged into young voter organizations around Ohio. Nick hails from the Mahoning Valley, and recently returned to the Cleveland area after living and working in Columbus for 6 years.

ModernEsquire is a lawyer - which obviously means you should trust him. He has served as an aide in the General Assembly, a newspaper reporter, and a former district office aide to former Congressman Ted Strickland. Modern lives in SW Ohio where he practices law and he and his wife are anxiously looking forward to the arrival of Future Esquire in July.

Pelikan works for the government and insists he's just here to help.  A native to Central Ohio his public and private sector career has taken him to Washington, D.C. and Illinois. When you can get him to stop talking about Peak Oil, he'll write about politics and government both in Ohio and nationally.  He also posts at his own blog, Clips and Comment.

A Nationally Certified School Counselor who works in one of the largest school districts in Ohio, JDewey earned a master's degree in counselor education from The Ohio State University. Originally from Cincinnati, she is hoping to bend the ears of those who can improve the quality of life and the educational experience for all students and families across Ohio.
